Web Marketing Strategy

How do you use your website to get out your ministry’s message? Perhaps you should first ask, “How often do I go to my own website?” “Do I find it appealing and valuable?” First convince yourself and your team of its worth, and then invite in others.

  • Content is king, so refresh your site daily. Blogs, video, white papers, testimonies, and links to other resources can start a buzz of interest for your website as an Internet point of destination. Consider a marketing plan just for your site.
  • Ask questions like:
  • 1. How can we support our current strategy with web-based resources?
  • 2. Who on our team is technically skilled and has the passion and time to drive and manage
  • our web initiatives?
  • 3. How can we best track our web traffic and results, and how can we translate the data into
  • improvement and expansion?
  • 4. Which ministries are using their websites affordably and effectively? What can we learn from
  • their models?
  • 5. What content can we give away so we can build a following around brand awareness?
